Summer sees the snow remaining on Western Europe's highest peak Mont Blanc and her neighbours. Ideally situated on the border of Italy and Switzerland, you can climb Mont Blanc or be hiking in the morning and relaxing in a spa resort in the afternoon. We are the gateway to Europe, with some suggested day trips: Italy - Courmayeur, Milan, Turin, Switzerland - Geneva, Lausanne, Zermatt, and in France - Annecy, known as the Venice of the Alps.
In the valley with the meadows in bloom, summers in Chamonix Mont Blanc have a more laid back feeling, although there is still a wide choice of activities on offer. Exert yourself in the mountains whether your chosen pursuit is hiking, cycling, mountain-biking or climbing. The golf course is renowned, with many more courses within an hours’ drive. Or why not experience the breathtaking train ride to the Mer de Glace, summit the Aiguille du Midi via cable car or dine with the views of the Mont Blanc Massif?
