Climb Mont Blanc with Chamonix's premier team......

Mont Blanc is Western Europe's highest mountain at 4810M, and over the last 4 years, our week long course, allowing for maximum training and acclimatisation has enabled our fit and motivated clients the optimum opportunity to summit.

Chamonix's premier team - On the Mountain you benefit from the experience of Course Director Stuart MacDonald, Everest summiteer and IFMGA Mountain guide. In the Chamonix Valley accommodation and transport logistics are  provided by Mike & Jude at Chalet Annabelle. Combined, you can be assured of a 'Champagne Climb Mont Blanc' experience.

A brief outline of the Course -  Running for a week, our focus is small groups, maximum 8 clients, with a guide ratio of 2 clients to 1 guide during the summit phase (4:1 during training). We limit the course to 5 weeks per year, avoiding the peak Summer weeks, hence Mont Blanc is a little quieter and the huts are less crowded. During the 3 day acclimatisation and training phase we travel to the beautiful mountain village of Champex du Lac and climb to the Cabane D'Orny, one of the finest mountain huts in the region. After an early start and summit of a 3500M peak, the second night is spent in the equally comfortable Trient Hut. Descending back to Chamonix and after a night back in the Chalet, maybe a massage and some relaxation in the hot tub, it's onto the summit phase. Returning to Chalet Annabelle for some celebratory 'bubbles'.

We pride ourselves on the client feedback received over the last 4 years and our 'Champagne Climb Mont Blanc' course represents the best available in terms of calibre of staff, organisation, accommodation, what's included, and cost.

Client comments

It really couldn't have been better. Stuart who was an exceptional leader. He looked after everybody brilliantly, had a great sense of humour, had to make some difficult decisions on summit day and with hind-sight made all the right calls. I've already recommended the trip to a few friends. Chalet Annabelle was also superb- Mike and Jude couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming whilst at the same time giving you enough space to feel totally relaxed from day one. The chalet itself was to a very high standard. Food was superb at the chalet. Overall 100% satisfaction. AP June 2011

Fantastic week, first class hospitality. Thank you very much! I will recommend Chalet Annabelle to as many people as possible. CS, Mountain Equipment July 2011

....Stuart is an excellent guide, really really knows his stuff and is incredibly easy to get on with whilst constantly pushing us all as well.  A great trip all around on and off the mountain, the chalet is lush and mike/jude are a great pair who think of and do everything. AP 2011
